These Event Terms apply to all Galighticus events, workshops, retreats, ceremonies, and experiences — in person and online. They apply alongside our general Terms & Conditions.
Registration & booking
Your event registration is confirmed when you receive a booking confirmation email from us. Places are limited and are secured on a first-come, first-served basis upon receipt of full payment, unless an alternative arrangement is stated.
You must provide accurate information at registration, including any health considerations, accessibility requirements, or dietary needs where requested. This information helps us ensure your safety and the quality of your experience.
Some events have prerequisites — such as prior programme completion, membership status, or a minimum age — which will be stated in the event listing. We reserve the right to cancel your registration with a full refund if prerequisites are not met.
Payments & pricing
Event fees are displayed at the time of booking and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Full payment is required at registration unless an instalment plan is explicitly offered.
Where an instalment plan is available, failure to meet payment deadlines may result in loss of your reserved place. The remaining balance remains due unless you cancel within the eligible refund window as set out in this policy.
Event pricing is subject to change before booking. Once your registration is confirmed, your quoted price is honoured for that event regardless of subsequent price changes.
Cancellations by you
If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us as soon as possible. Refund eligibility is based on how much advance notice you provide: more than 30 days before the event — full refund of the ticket price; 14 to 30 days before the event — 50% refund of the ticket price; fewer than 14 days before the event — no refund is issued.
In lieu of a refund, your ticket may be transferred to another person, subject to our prior approval. To arrange a transfer, contact us at least 48 hours before the event with the new attendee's full name and email address. The new attendee must accept these Event Terms and satisfy any prerequisites.
If you do not attend the event and have not cancelled or arranged a transfer within the timeframes above, no refund will be issued.
Cancellations or changes by us
If Galighticus cancels an event, all registered attendees will receive a full refund of their ticket price within 14 days. We will not be responsible for any travel, accommodation, subsistence, or other costs incurred in connection with the cancelled event.
If we need to change a confirmed event's date, location, or substantive content, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable. You will be offered the option to transfer to the rescheduled event (where available) or receive a full refund.
Minor schedule adjustments — such as changes to speaker order, session timing, or supporting activities — do not constitute a material change and do not give rise to a refund entitlement.
Force majeure
Galighticus is not liable for the cancellation or modification of events caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Such circumstances include, but are not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, public health emergencies, government restrictions or orders, severe weather, power failures, or acts of terrorism.
In the event of force majeure, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the event. Where rescheduling is not possible, we will offer affected attendees a credit or partial refund, taking into account non-recoverable costs already incurred on their behalf.
Conduct at events
All attendees are expected to treat fellow participants, facilitators, support staff, and any venue personnel with respect and dignity at all times. Our Community Guidelines apply equally within in-person and online event spaces.
Conduct that is disruptive, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or that undermines the safety or experience of others will not be tolerated. Galighticus reserves the right to remove any attendee from an event without refund if their conduct is deemed unacceptable, in our sole discretion.
The consumption of alcohol or non-prescribed substances at events is not permitted unless explicitly provided as part of the event programme.
Photography, recording & media
Galighticus may photograph or video-record events for training, community, or promotional purposes. By registering and attending, you consent to being captured incidentally in event photography and recordings.
If you do not wish to appear in event media, please inform us in writing at the time of registration. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preference; however, complete exclusion from all imagery cannot be guaranteed in large group settings.
Attendees may not personally record, photograph, live-stream, or broadcast any part of an event without prior written permission from Galighticus. This is to protect the privacy of fellow attendees and the intellectual property of our facilitators and practitioners.
Health, safety & wellbeing
You are responsible for confirming that you are fit and well to attend and participate in an event. If you have a medical condition, physical limitation, disability, or mental health consideration that may affect your participation or safety, please disclose this at registration so we can make suitable arrangements.
Some events involve physical movement, breathwork, sound immersion, or emotionally intensive experiences. You participate in all activities at your own risk and are entitled to withdraw from any activity that you feel uncomfortable with at any time. No pressure will be placed on you to continue.
For in-person events, you agree to comply with any health and safety requirements set by Galighticus or the venue. If you are unwell on the day of an event — particularly if symptomatic of a contagious illness — please do not attend. Contact us in advance and we will discuss your options.
Accessibility
Galighticus is committed to making our events as accessible as possible. If you have accessibility requirements — including mobility, visual, hearing, sensory, or dietary needs — please inform us at registration so we can make reasonable adjustments.
Where a venue or online platform has known accessibility limitations, these will be disclosed clearly in the event listing.
Liability at events
Galighticus takes reasonable steps to ensure the safety and quality of all events. We are not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage arising from your attendance at an event unless caused directly by our negligence or wilful misconduct.
You are responsible for your personal belongings at all in-person event venues. Galighticus and venue operators are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
For online events, Galighticus is not responsible for technical issues on your end, including internet connectivity problems, device compatibility issues, or third-party software failures.
Minors at events
Our events are generally designed for adults aged 18 and over, unless an event listing explicitly states otherwise. Where minors under 18 are permitted to attend, they must be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian who takes full responsibility for the minor's conduct, wellbeing, and safety throughout the event.
Age restrictions, where stated, are strictly enforced. We reserve the right to refuse entry to any person who cannot provide satisfactory proof of age where required.
Intellectual property at events
All event content — including presentations, materials, facilitated experiences, rituals, and session recordings provided by Galighticus — is our intellectual property and remains so after the event. Attendees may not reproduce, distribute, or publish event content without prior written permission.
If you create original work as part of an event exercise or workshop, you retain ownership of that work. By sharing it within the event space, you grant Galighticus a limited licence to reference or display it within the context of that event only.
